FIND OUT ALL ABOUT THE MOULIN ROUGE’S MAISONS D’ART!
The Moulin Rouge dazzles on stage thanks to our artists and technicians, but none of it would be possible without those who work behind the curtain, out of sight! A large part of the cabaret’s magic is brewed deep in the heart of our “Maisons d’Art” ateliers. Exceptional arts and crafts professions, vital to the enchantment infused into our Revue show and without which the magic of the Moulin Rouge would be incomplete.
Come and learn more about these rare and precious talents, by exploring their universe during the next European Art and Crafts Days (called JEMA)!

In the workshop, master shoe-makers work day after day to dress the feet of our dancers with the most elegant of shoes, an integral part of the stage costumes.
● Atelier Valentin: The magic is in the details! And Atelier Valentin brings it out, delicately and masterfully embellishing our costumes with embroidery, beads and sequins. True creators of beauty, the artists in this renowned Maison roll out made-to-measure art, to activate the costumes’ magic as the dancers enter the stage.
● Mine Vergès Atelier: A huge part of the magic of the Moulin Rouge is embodied by its costumes! The couturiers at the Mine Vergès Atelier make flamboyant costumes from the highest quality materials, embellished with handmade details, so that the world-famous cabaret may shine on stage in all its effervescence.
● Maison Février: Elegance and delicacy come to life at Maison Février, the last remaining feathermaker based in the heart of Paris. Renowned in the world of fashion and luxury, the feather artists pour all their expert know-how into the magic of the Moulin Rouge, through unique pieces.
