2026 auditions are coming to Australia
The Moulin Rouge® team is heading to Australia for the 2026 auditions for the Féerie show, following the method of Janet Pharaoh, the show’s original artistic director. These auditions are a unique opportunity to discover the talents who will soon join the troupe and bring the magic of Féerie to life on the Moulin Rouge stage every night.
The team will be visiting:
– Perth — July 5, 2026
– Melbourne — July 8, 2026
– Sydney — July 12 & July 23, 2026
– Brisbane — July 16, 2026
– Gold Coast — July 19, 2026
Key information before participating in Moulin Rouge auditions
If your dream is to perform on the famous Moulin Rouge® stage in Paris and would like to join the Moulin Rouge® company, see below for criteria:
– Serious dance training
– A good classical base and advanced modern / jazz
– Minimum height for female dancers: 175cm / 5’9″
– Minimum height for male dancers: 185cm / 6’1″
– Dancers (female) : grace and agility in motion
– Dancers (male) : strength and controlled balance
– Great stage presence and bright personality
