Make a note of Sunday 4th June in France – a special day to celebrate all the mums out there! Give her the gift of an unforgettable day with the family this Mother’s Day, with our ideas for things to do in Paris. This year spoil your Mum in the loveliest way!

1. An original day out

Maybe your mum’s never been to a Parisian cabaret before, or she has and would love to go back? Then it’s the perfect opportunity to take her out for the evening with the Moulin Rouge dinner show! This unique gift offers an evening filled with music and rhinestones at our Féérie Revue show. Before the show, indulge in cuisine from our chef Arnaud Demerville in an exceptional setting inspired by the Belle Epoque. Have you already booked a table for your family dinner? If so, then this is the ideal opportunity to keep the party alive all evening by booking a Féerie Revue show at 9pm or 11pm. Find the package that best suits your needs on our website.

2. A moment of relaxation

Given that mums never take enough time out for themselves, we recommend making this day about pure relaxation. Spa, massage, treatment – all ideal options for pressing the pause button and pampering yourself! Book your mum in for a facial or body massage in a renowned spa so that you can celebrate her, show her you care and make her smile all at the same time. So many gift ideas that will allow her to recharge her batteries before continuing the family day out in Paris!

3. A tasty treat

What better way to spend Mothering Sunday than a family brunch with the kids? We know just the right place: nestled in the cité Véron, in the Montmartre district, the Bar à Bulles at La Machine du Moulin Rouge is a place where time seems to stop. On the menu: pastries, a selection of beverages, various types of bagels, fresh fruit and much more. Add this to your itinerary for the day and treat yourselves to a delicious brunch on the planted terrace. The votes are in, and opinions are unanimous: this is one of the best brunch spots in Paris!

4. A sporty activity

Maybe your mum’s more the sporty type? Opt for a unique experience by booking a pilates or barre class in the Chez Simone apartment , a yoga class at Maison Alaena or how about a climbing session at the Arkose Nation gym? You and your family could even don your running shoes and head off for a jog along the Seine to take in some of Paris’s most beautiful sights. Even better, get out on your bike or hire one. What could be nicer than a bicycle ride beneath the May sunshine? By the time you’ve finished, you’ll have definitely worked up enough of an appetite for brunch at the Bar à Bulles!

5. A time for fun

Mother’s Day could be the perfect opportunity to have some fun and enjoy time together as a family. Bring along the kids and head towards one of Paris’s gaming cafes such as Les Mauvais Joueurs or Loufoque. You’ll never be short of ideas for games here! Most of these venues also have a dine-in food menu, so you can while away the day there.

You can create your own bespoke itinerary for Mother’s Day with the help of these gift ideas! A massage, yoga class, show at the Moulin Rouge, brunch or games as a family – there’s so many options for weekend days out in Paris and for planning an unforgettable Mother’s Day for your mum!
