In order to strengthen the Moulin Rouge’s kitchen brigade, we are looking for a Commis de Cuisine on a permanent contract, to be filled as soon as possible.

Position decription
Join the Moulin Rouge’s kitchen brigade and enhance the experience of 350 guests every evening alongside Executive Chef Arnaud Demerville, member of the Maîtres Cuisiniers de France.
As a Commis de Cuisine, within a brigade of about thirty cooks and under the supervision of the Sous Chefs, your missions consist in particular of (non-exhaustive list):
- Carry out the necessary set-up to make the dishes;
- Carry out culinary preparations in compliance with the technical sheets, the rules of manufacture and setting up of dishes as well as hygiene and safety rules;
- Participate in the dispatch of dishes within the deadlines set by the service;
- Participate in the control of goods upon delivery and store them in cold rooms;
- Clean and store equipment and workspaces.
Your profile
Graduated from a hotel school (minimum CAP), you have a first significant experience, in a similar position and environment.
You have a solid knowledge of hygiene, safety rules and HACCP, and you master the culinary basics of French gastronomy.
To thrive in your role, you will have:
- Rigorous, responsive and have an eye for detail;
- An ability to approach services methodically, efficiently and responsively;
- Good team player and good communication skills.

The position:
Badged working time: paid overtime.
Hours: continuous (no breaks), morning or evening – 2 consecutive days off – contract at 39 hours per week.
Gross annual salary: €28,597
Location: in the cabaret’s kitchens, 82 boulevard de Clichy – 75018 Paris.
