In order to strengthen the Moulin Rouge’s dining room brigade, we are looking for a Restaurant Commis on a fixed-term contract for a period of 4 months, to be filled as soon as possible.

Position Description
In the Moulin Rouge Restaurant, you will enhance the experience of 1,600 guests every evening and serve 350 dinners, imagined and prepared by our Executive Chef Arnaud Demerville, a member of the Maîtres Cuisiniers de France.
As a Restaurant Commis, you join the largest brigade in France made up of a hundred professionals. Under the supervision of the Room Managers, your missions include (non-exhaustive list):
- Inform customers in a polite and concise manner;
- Know all the dishes on the menus, their toppings and preparation methods;
- Know and apply the regulations on hygiene, HACCP and safety;
- Serve dishes in a discreet and professional manner;
- Ensure the storage and storage of all condiments in the bar;
- Ensure the service of drinks, following the procedures and standards of the Moulin Rouge;
- Carry out the cleaning and maintenance of the room, lobby, waiting room and service areas.
Your Profile
A graduate of a hotel school, you have a first successful experience in room service, ideally acquired in quality establishments such as luxury brasseries.
You will understand the different stages of a room service as well as its techniques (taking orders, serving food and drinks, customer advice, payment, etc.).
Knowledge of basic English is essential for this position.

The position:
Badged working time: paid overtime.
Night hours, from 5:45 p.m. to 1:45 a.m. – contract at 35 hours per week – 2 consecutive days off.
Gross annual salary: €25,406
Location: within the cabaret, 82 boulevard de Clichy – 75018 Paris -> please note that the return journey is the responsibility of the employee.
