A shoemaker since 1945, Maison Clairvoy, led by Nicolas Maistriaux, specializes in the design and handcrafting of shoes. The team of artisans creates unique pieces, particularly for the performing arts and cinema (artists, dancers, actors), but also for amateurs and enthusiasts around the world.
A subsidiary of the Moulin Rouge, Maison Clairvoy has been entrusted with the creation and maintenance of the shoes used in the revue “Féerie.”
We are looking for a full-time shoe repairer on a fixed-term contract to fill a vacancy as soon as possible for a period of six months.

Position description
Under the supervision of Nicolas Maistriaux, Head Bootmaker, and as part of the Maison Clairvoy team, your daily tasks will include:
- Carrying out repairs related to the show business as well as everyday repairs, while meeting deadlines and objectives;
- Applying the procedures, standards, and safety measures in force;
- Carrying out an initial check on the quality and conformity of the work carried out;
- Ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of the machines operated.
Your profile
Ideally, you will have completed a CAP/BEP-level vocational training program in shoe manufacturing and have significant, proven experience in a similar position, ideally in an artisanal setting.
This position requires the following knowledge:
- Safety principles related to machines and the workplace;
- Proper movements and postures;
- Flexible materials (leather, textiles) used in shoe repair;
- Adjustments and settings for the machines used;
- Manual cutting tools and sharpening.

The position:
Working hours: Monday to Friday – 35-hour week contract.
Gross annual salary: €30,000.
Location: at the Clairvoy workshop, 18, rue Pierre Fontaine – 75009 PARIS.
