We are looking for a Set Designer/Props Manager for a full-time permanent contract, to start as soon as possible.

Your missions
Reporting to the Technical Director, you will be responsible for all the sets and props for the show, as well as the Moulin Rouge theatre itself, working independently.
Your main duties will include the following (non-exhaustive list):
- Maintaining the props and sets for the stage and the Moulin Rouge theatre according to a specific schedule;
- Repair props and sets within the deadlines set for the smooth running of the show each evening;
- Possibly participate in the creation of sets and props for a new revue;
- Manage the supply of materials necessary for your work and maintain the workshop inventory;
- Comply with safety rules/standards and wear the appropriate PPE;
- Report your activity to the Technical Director and, if necessary, recommend any action necessary to maintain the quality of the show;
- Replace the wine cellar manager in the event of their absence (handling and deliveries);
- Report any malfunctions if necessary.
Your profile
You have a degree relevant to the position and solid experience, ideally acquired in the performing arts sector.
You are able to work at height and/or on a cherry picker, as well as handle heavy loads. Electrical certification is a plus.
You are proficient in various techniques, including:
- Carpentry (cutting wood, assembling, handling tools);
- Painting (decoration, painting, colour matching, glittering);
- Piano wire;
- Handling resins and polyester.

The position :
Daytime hours – 35-hour per week contract – 2 consecutive days off (Saturday-Sunday).
Gross annual salary: depending on profile.
Location: within the cabaret, 82 Boulevard de Clichy – 75018 Paris.
