That was the challenge taken on by Marcel Travel Posters, a French illustration house renowned for its artistic travel posters. The result of this collaboration: an exclusive collection of posters, postcards, and decorative items. Each piece, made in France, beautifully reflects the visual universe of the Moulin Rouge with finesse, modernity, and creativity.
How did this exclusive collaboration come to life?
This collaboration is built on shared values: a passion for handcrafted work, a commitment to French know-how, and a celebration of culture in its most vibrant and inspiring form. On one side, the Moulin Rouge — an iconic cabaret that continues to electrify Paris with its energy and creativity. On the other, Marcel Travel Posters — an artistic publishing house that captures the spirit of France’s most emblematic places with talent.
Julien VERIL, also known as “Marcel”, is a self-taught illustrator based in Hossegor, in the Landes region. With his sharp eye and attention to detail, he’s managed to capture the unique energy of the Moulin Rouge. His goal: to translate the atmosphere, movement, and personality of this emblematic venue onto paper.
But this project goes beyond a simple artistic collaboration. It’s rooted in shared values: a love of quality craftsmanship, authenticity, and the desire to bring cultural heritage to life with a fresh, free, and creative perspective.
What’s included in the collection ?
The Moulin Rouge teams up with Marcel Travel Posters for an exclusive collection full of character. Five decorative pieces designed to brighten your walls, spark your wanderlust… or inspire your next gift idea.
– A large-format poster (50×70 cm) that captures the magic of the Moulin Rouge façade — as if you were standing right in front of it.
– Two medium-sized posters (30×40 cm): one highlighting the lively street scene, the other the iconic windmill.
